Michele grew up in Wathena, Kansas, before moving to St. Joseph 34 years ago. She enjoyed raising her two children, Jennifer and David Duncan Jr. here in St. Joseph, and was always active in PTA, Band Boosters and various activities her children were involved in from pre-school to graduation. Michele has a long background in retail sales and customer service beginning with her employment at Montgomery Ward´s as a young wife and mother to starting and operating her own residential and commercial cleaning business in the community for over 10 years. Later, as a single mother, Michele studied Business Law, Accounting and Economics at Missouri Western State College. Michele became a Realtor® in 1999 and has used her broad knowledge and experience of working in the customer service field throughout her past 16 years as a Realtor® in St. Joseph. She enjoys working with all types of customers, but specializes in foreclosures and various types of investment properties as well as rentals and property management. Outside of real estate, Michele has spent 2 ½ years on the Head Start Policy Council and is also a strong supporter of animal rights and welfare causes. She enjoys flowers and gardening, traveling, attending auctions and garage sales and spending time with her two grandchildren and their families every chance she gets!
