Puckett’s of Leiper’s Fork is the only surviving Pucketts Grocery from the Pucketts Grocery chain of the 1950’s and is the original Pucketts Restaurant where the Restaurant chain began. Many don’t know the store was condemned a decade ago and in danger of being closed forever. Rob & Shanel Robinson didn’t even know it when they bought it. “A couple months after we bought the store Williamson County Wastewater came out and said they were going to shut it down. Of course we were shocked, but that was the moment this truely became a preservation project” The Robinson’s worked tirelessly with Williamson County officials, while also minding the store, to find a way to preserve this historic landmark.
In October of 2019 the new water treatment system went live and we are thrilled it is now preserved for future generations to enjoy.
